Call for Volunteers: TESOL Quarterly Editor Search Team
Help select the next TESOL Quarterly (TQ) editor! TESOL International Association is seeking five (5) TESOL members in good standing to join the TQ Editor Search Team. The time commitment is 8 months, beginning in July 2024.
Members of the Search Team will work together to solicit prospects, review applications, interview short-listed candidates, evaluate finalists, and make final recommendations for the best qualified individual to serve as the editor for TQ.
Experience Sought
- Experience in English language teaching.
- Record of publication(s) in peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Experience in reviewing journal articles or other academic publications.
- Familiarity with TQ.
Skills Needed
- Ability to stay organized and on track and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to collaborate virtually.
- Ability to identify talent in diverse and underrepresented populations

TQ encourages submission of previously unpublished articles on topics of significance to individuals concerned with English language teaching, learning, and policy. Because TQ is committed to publishing manuscripts that bridge theory in our profession, it particularly welcomes submissions that address the implications and applications of research.
