Hello everyone!

Welcome to our Fall 2024 ITAIS newsletter, we are happy you are here!

We have got another great issue for you! In this issue, Roger Anderson explores an educator’s trip to Taiwan. Then, Eva Miszoglad and Mike O’Neill review the past events held through the ITAIS group. Next, Cynthia DeRoma and Sarah Emory outline a call for OER for ITAs. Lastly, Eric Moore explores the ways to teach L2 pragmatics to ITAs.

As always, please consider submitting a piece such as a classroom innovation you have piloted, a research interest that has a practical application, a book review, your experience with a workshop that inspired you, a reflection on your teaching practice or a resource for materials. We’ll be happy to accommodate your interests and preference.

Wishing you all the best for 2025-2026!
