Join the Newsletter Team
The TEIS Newsletter team is looking for two volunteers to join the editorial team. If you are a current TESOL member who has a strong passion for teacher education, you could be the person we are looking for!
As a member of the team, you will solicit articles and help oversee the production of their interest section's e-
newsletters, an important member benefit. You will play a vital role in meeting the needs of TESOL members by facilitating the exchange of ideas, experiences, and teaching practices among TESOL
professionals within a target member community.
- Term of Service
- Minimum of one year
- General Responsibilities
- Develop newsletter timeline
- Create 1-4 newsletters per year
- Work with IS leaders, members, and non-members to gather content of interest
- Work with TESOL Staff to review content
- Attend any meetings focused on newsletters, in person or virtual
- Resources & Support
- TESOL Staff person responsible for formatting newsletters and answering general questions about the newsletter publishing process
- Access to IS Newsletter Editor e-list in TESOL Community
