TESOL Creates New Justice and Equity Professional Council

TESOL has created a professional council that will advance the association’s commitment to social justice and diversity, equity, inclusion, and access (DEIA) and to help ensure member needs are being met. Based upon the recommendations of TESOL’s Diversity Task Force and DEIA working group, the board approved the creation of the Justice and Equity Professional Council (JEPC) at their board meeting in March 2024 and adopted the council’s charter in June.
