Letter from the Chair-Elect
Eva Miszoglad, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA
Dear ITA Community,
I hope that you had a wonderful summer and had the opportunity to get some well-deserved time to relax!
As we head into the fall semester, this time will continue to be challenging as we navigate changes to our programs. This is also why it is so important for us to come together as a community, share with each other, and brainstorm ideas together. I am excited to continue having these discussions with all of you this upcoming academic year!
I hope many of you were inspired to submit for the TESOL 2027 conference and were able to review proposals as well! I also hope to see many of you in Houston in March 15-18 for the TESOL 2027 International Convention & Expo! The ITA Steering Committee has been working hard putting together an exceptional academic session and interest sessions.
I wish you a strong start to the new year with the reassurance of the support we have for one another! I am looking forward to another active year for our IS and to serve you as Chair-Elect. If you would like to connect or have ideas to share, please don’t hesitate to reach out at [email protected].
My very best,
Eva Miszoglad
