The EFL-IS writing guiding pilot mentoring program intends to guide novice writers in preparing and submitting their first article to a journal. Mentees should be in-service teachers and have an academic manuscript ready. The manuscripts could have a minimum of 1750 words, appropriate for an IS newsletter, or a minimum of 4000 words - thinking about other journals.
Three personalized sessions will follow this initial orientation session to guide the mentees over the process of editing and preparing their articles to submit for publishing. In a final session, mentees will receive more guidelines and information about where they could potentially publish.
