Elizabeth S. Coleman (she/her) is originally from the UK, although she has been working overseas for the past 15 years. Ms. Coleman holds a Bachelor of Arts in politics, philosophy, and economics and a Master of Law degree in gender and human rights. She began her EFL career in South Korea where she worked as an instructor and later academic manager of a private language school. After moving to Istanbul in 2013, Ms. Coleman has worked at various universities. Currently, she is an instructor and CPD specialist at Istanbul Medipol University. A firm believer in education as a transformative and developmental tool, Ms. Coleman is engaged in research around social constructions, gender, and the representation of minorities in education.


Selin Nur Hürmüz (she/they) earned her bachelor of education in English language teaching from Istanbul University in 2016. She completed her master’s degree in history and oriental studies from Università di Bologna in 2019 Summa Cum Laude. Her academic interests include contemporary landscapes of the Middle East and decolonizing queer studies. She has been teaching English as a foreign language at Medipol University since 2020.


Ricardo Valle (he/him) is an ELT professional from Lima, Peru. He holds a master's degree in higher education, and he has 15 years of experience in the field of education and English language teaching. Mr. Valle started off as an English teacher when he was 18 years old, and he is currently chief academic officer at Euroidiomas, a language center in Lima that has been helping people communicate with the world for over 35 years. Although up to now he specializes in virtual learning, virtual learning environments, and skill development in virtual teachers, inclusivity and diversity have become two of his major interests. His current aim is to build an inclusive and egalitarian work environment for all the members of the academic community at Euroidiomas.
Dr. Ashley R. Moore (he/him) is an assistant professor of TESOL at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development. A major strand of his research investigates the learning experiences of queer and trans language learners. His work within teacher education then leverages that knowledge towards the realization of queer- and trans-affirming pedagogies. His empirical and theoretical work within this strand has been published in journals such as TESOL Quarterly, The Modern Language Journal, and ELT Journal. Mr. Moore is also actively involved in public scholarship, producing YouTube videos on heteronormativity in language teaching materials and being interviewed on queer inclusion for the popular TEFLology podcast. 
Ethan Trinh (they/them) is a Vietnamese, queer, immigrant researcher and TESOL teacher educator teaching and pursuing their doctorate at Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. Their works focus on the intersectionality of gender, race, and language education that embraces queerness as a healing teaching and research practice. Their articles can be found in the International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education, LGBTQ Policy Journal, Journal of Homosexuality, Genealogy, Multicultural Perspectives, The Qualitative Report, Educational Studies and other book chapters (Routledge, Brill, and Springer). Mx. Trinh has published two co-edited volumes, entitled “Critical Storytelling: Multilingual Immigrants in the United States” (Brill, 2021) with Luis Javier Pentón Herrera and “Teacher Well-Being in English Language Teaching: An Ecological Approach” (Routledge, 2023) with Luis Javier Pentón Herrera and Gilda Martinez-Alba. Originally from Mekong Delta, Vietnam, Mx. Trinh enjoys creative writing and having a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee in their free time.
