As we strive for equity and inclusion, at some point, it is critical to take a step back and measure quantifiable criteria that demonstrate these constructs - equity and inclusion. To do so, it is important first to establish these criteria, then establish benchmarks thorough assessment of those criteria.
This discussion seeks to help schools to:
establish criteria to measure 1) equity and 2) inclusion.
establish objective assessments of 1) equity and 2) inclusion
link specific equity and inclusion goals to the organization’s strategic plan
Once these things are complete, an organization is able to benchmark programs, classes, or other aspects of the organization against these goals and establish quality enhancement plans that allow them to enhance its program vision.
