My name is Candice Quinones, and I am a doctoral learner at Grand Canyon University. I am seeking postsecondary English instructors who have worked with English language learners with visual impairments in a U.S. context to help me with my doctoral research.
If you have worked to teach English to ELLs with any sort of visual impairment at all, from mild low vision to total blindness, in a postsecondary setting (including college/university, community college, or adult ed programs) in the U.S., I could really use your input related to what sort of adapted materials you used or what classroom accommodations you made for those students.
Participation would include, at minimum, completion of a completely anonymous online questionnaire related to what I have described above. There is also an option to sign up for and participate in a follow up interview, if you choose to do so (which I would really appreciate). I need as many completed questionnaires as possible, so even if your experience has been limited, it would still be quite invaluable to my research if you would complete the questionnaire.
PLEASE consider participating and/or forwarding this post and participation link to anyone you know that may have relevant experience. You can inbox or email me at CMarshall34@my.gcu.edu with questions.
Thank you in advance!
