    Dear Colleagues,

Do you incorporate digital storytelling in your teaching? If so, please read on!

You are invited to submit a proposal for a vignette to be included in a new book "Digital Storytelling as Translanguaging: A Practical Guide for Language Educators." The book is being written by us, Polina Vinogradova (American University, US) and Heather Linville (University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, US) and published by Routledge.

The book will be a guide to digital storytelling (as defined by Lambert, 2009, 2018, and Storycenter.org) and its use as multimodal student projects in English language instruction. Through this book, we aim to encourage and facilitate the use of digital storytelling to create culturally responsive, multilingual, and translanguaging spaces in English language classrooms around the globe. The book will include clear instructions, examples, and brief vignettes from language educators and learners.

We are currently seeking proposals for language educator vignettes.

If you are interested, please answer this brief questionnaire (https://forms.gle/XHAHmUJW1f5JFRo69) by October 17, 2022. We will reach out to selected individuals to request full vignettes by November 15, 2022. We will ask selected individuals to submit their full vignettes by January 2, 2023.
