    Dear colleagues,

As Maryland TESOL, we are currently accepting proposals for our annual fall conference, scheduled on November 12th, 2022. This year, our conference will be a hybrid conference with opportunities to present in three different formats that you can choose from: pre-recorded sessions, virtual live sessions, and in-person sessions. You can submit a pedagogy-focused session, a research-focused session, or a teacher toolkit session. We are going with an overall theme of "Interlacing the Local and the Global" in order to engage in discussions and reflections of how recent events and developments in the world affect our local practices and school communities, and vice versa. Proposal submission deadline is September 1st, 11.59 pm, and more information about the conference and the proposal submission link can be found on our website here: Maryland TESOL - Fall Conference

As ESOL professionals, our job has never been isolated from what is happening around the world. With the theme of " Interlacing the Local and the Global ," Maryland TESOL invites all TESOLers to reflect on the global connections of their local practices and the local impacts of the global events in our classrooms, during our 42nd Annual Fall Conference (Hybrid), scheduled for November 12th, 2022.
