    At the English Language Center at Michigan State University, we offer an Online TESOL Certificate Program and the core courses in this program can be taken individually. You might be interested in our Pedagogical Grammar course, and I should note that while completely online, there is one required textbook. These courses are self-paced, so you can enroll when you're ready.     Hi Laura,

    That's such a coincidence. Just last week, I bought the same book to begin studying at home. I am enrolled in a TESOL certificate program, but the grammar course was canceled this past quarter due to low enrollment. My grammar course still needs to be completed to earn my certificate, but that will have to wait until the fall or winter. While I will be using a book from Scott Thornbury, I've heard that Keys to Teaching Grammar is very informative, so I bought it.  I will definitely look into it since the tuition is very affordable.
