Jennifer,
Good to continue "reintroducing" the ESP Interest Section via the video and references
to the resources newsletter, and plans for TESOL 23.
The focus on a joint session with the Applied Linguistics Interest Section COMBINED
with the Academic Session on doing Needs Analyses is a good combination for reinforcing
how ESP--is needs-driven--and not content driven as some think.
Presentations on how to do/ and the importance of Needs Analyses, is an excellent way
of reinforcing the principles of ESP --at its core are the specific community of learners and
their real, immediate/ near immediate needs.
