Hello! As we celebrate our TESOL communities this month, please take a moment to learn more about the Teacher Educator Interest Section (TEIS)! Read on and/or see our video introduction at https://youtu.be/nxBNCaNt46U.

    Target audience
All those interested in English language teacher education.

    Leadership team
Chair, James Whiting, Plymouth State University, NH:  whitingtesol@gmail.com

    Activities
This year the TEIS leadership team is working to host a full slate of compelling and varied webinars. So far we have hosted three webinars, one on a new journal, Second Language Teacher Education, another on using TESOL's website as a resource in teacher education courses, and a discussion on representation in teacher-education content and materials. Find these and other interest section webinars by following TESOL International on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/tesolinc).

Upcoming this fall and next winter, we'll host talks on Language and Social Justice; Pragmatics in Teacher Education; Culturally Responsive Teaching in TESOL Teacher Education; and Using Authentic Writing in the Teacher Education Classroom.

    Get involved!
Please consider writing an article for the newsletter or presenting a TEIS Talk webinar on your area of expertise or interest. Please also consider serving as a TEIS leader. If you're at the annual convention, please do join us for our business meeting and our dinner afterwards.
