Happy holidays and wish all a happy new year
Pharos University in Alexandria is the only private university in Alexandria, Egypt with around 17 thousand undergraduate students. The English Language Centre is one of four centres in the university serving its undergraduate students.
In 2022, The English Language Centre started an initiation of delivering free monthly webinars to teachers from around the globe. This professional development initiation went side by side with our monthly face to face professional development days where teachers would come on a Saturday and attend two teacher training sessions.
2022 was a successful year for us with more than 20 speakers (click to watch the
video). All our speakers introduced new ideas and shared their experience. It was quite an enriching experience.
We hope we could continue the same this year and no one can make it happen more than everyone in the TESOL family. I would love to hear from you if you are interested in joining any of our webinars. I am attaching
