STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The TESOL Diversity Collaborative Professional Learning Network (PLN) aims to acknowledge the complex diversity and intersecting journeys of English language professionals and English learners worldwide by producing avenues for professional development, advocacy, and scholarship to inform practice, governance and learning standards. This work aims to increase access and inclusion for TESOL professionals, and therefore, the reach of TESOL through the development of more mindful and equitable practice in TESOL and professional development, which aims to ensure more positive experiences from diverse participants by creating tools and raising awareness through critical reflective practices that support the agency and advocacy of diverse TESOL professionals on behalf of themselves and their students.
