The Conferences Professional Council Strand working group has been working hard to incorporate feedback from the Chicago convention regarding the strands and the adjudication process. A strand for Materials Development and Publishing has been added, and tweaks have been made to other strands and contexts as well. The changes in the format require an update to most every element as it relates to the call for proposals and the abstract submission site; so, it is taking a little time to finalize all of that. We realize that the late date is causing some concern over the call for proposals deadline. In order to ensure everyone has enough time to submit a proposal, the submission deadline will be 2 July 2018.TESOL staff will ensure there is a message regarding the TESOL 2019 call for proposals deadline on their web site and that the full call for proposals web site is up as soon as it can be.
Thank you for your patience as we work to get the TESOL 2019 process ready.Sincerely,Ali Fuad SelviConferences Professional Council Chair
