    In this session, Beatrix Price will talk about the results of an interview study that was part of her PhD dissertation on the professional development of successful ELT professionals, through their career as teachers, teacher trainers or leaders in ELTAs, to identify their motivation for professional growth and leadership positions within their associations. Drawing the results from the dataset, it can be confirmed that the most abundant motivational components were connected to skills gained through voluntary work. Participants will be invited to share their own experience.
