    Bi-Multilingual Interest Section: CALL FOR NOMINATION (2023-2024) 

    If you are a current member of TESOL International Association and would like to get more involved in the organization, this is a message for you! We would like to cordially invite you to nominate yourself or a colleague within TESOL International Association for the following leadership positions at the Bi-Multilingual Interest Section

    • Chair Elect: Attend the TESOL Convention in 2023 and 2024, assist the incoming Chair in all IS-related activities during the 2024-2025 academic year (including but not limited to planning and promoting events such as webinars, conference planning, Twitter events, etc.), take the position of Chair in the 2023-2024 academic year, write a report, lead the organization of the SIG.
    • Newsletter Bilingual Basic Editor: Publish at least one newsletter issue and perform responsibilities including but not limited to planning, editing and publishing contents.  
    • Community Manager: Promote awareness of the purpose and actions of the IS through ongoing communication efforts. This means managing the Twitter account, but also making sure people post and tweet about bilingual/multilingual education.
    • Members at Large: Serve as a liaison to the general membership.
    • Secretary-historian: Compile and archive resources relating to Bilingual/Multilingual Education. Collaborate with the Community Manager to share and contribute knowledge and resources relating to Bilingual Education via social media.
