Title: A New Book and a New Look at Leadership in Language Education
Summary
In a forthcoming book, Reflecting on Leadership in Language Education (Curtis, 2022), I bring together three centuries of lived experiences of leadership in our field, based on the reflections of ten leaders, including past presidents and board members of the TESOL International Association and IATEFL, as well as others in high-level leadership roles in language education. In this presentation, I will summarize some of the main highlights and recurring themes of those three hundred years of reflection. If you are currently in a leadership role, or may be in one in the future, this workshop will help you be the best language education leader that you can be!
