Register today for the 2021 ITBE Fall Workshop! It will take place virtually on Saturday, October 16. The virtual workshop will open at 8:30 am with a Meet and Greet, and it will conclude at 4:10 pm after a wrap-up and raffle. We will also have lunchtime SIG meetings and an opportunity to visit our virtual Exhibitors' Hall.

Attendees can earn up to 5.5 or 6 professional development hours (depending on the certificate requested) and will learn lots of new strategies to use in the classroom. Tell your friends and colleagues!

The cost is $15 for ITBE members and is free for new members who sign up to become an ITBE member for the first time.

Our keynote speakers, Brenda Custodio and Judith O'Loughlin, will share with us specific strategies to support new arrivals from elementary age to adults, including suggestions for students with interrupted schooling and trauma-backgrounds. Both Brenda and Judith are past K-12 ESL classroom teachers who now focus on teacher training and professional development.

Featured speaker Dr. William Stone, presently teaches in the Linguistics and TESOL programs at Northeastern Illinois University. He has extensive EFL/ESL teaching experience and has inspired many Graduate and Undergraduate students to excel in the TESOL profession.

We look forward to seeing you there!
