    Hello everybody,,
so glad to be part of this community. So, I am Danielle from Mauritius Island, Indian Ocean. I am a TESOL & Early Childhood Educator, and since 2 years Jolly Phonics Professional Trainer. Running my own after-school TESOL Club: you can read more on my bio.

I am looking forward to be part of the huge TESOL Convention, in Denver...whoever will be attending, please give me a shout; we can definitely meet.
Meanwhile, I am looking forward to sharing and discuss ideas and concepts in the teaching & learning process of English on this platform.

Oh before, I close my introduction: I am right now going through becoming a National Geographic Certified Educator which I found very vauable for any educator. It's for free and you will surely bring innovation and engagement to your learners.

This my 2020 goal for my learners: Inspiring and Empowering them to become Explorers

    Cheers to all

Hello and welcome to the group!

I teach and the Gulf and began tutoring a young learner using the Jolly workbook series. Do you reccomend their online certification course? Also, how do I go about becoming a trainer.

    Thanks for your insight.

    Hello Rochelle,

so happy to see a Jolly fellow on this platform.
I would definitely recommend the online courses, and if also have the opportunity to follow a Jolly Phonics Training Workshop by a certified trainer, this will add to your knowledge of the methodology.
To becoming a trainer; you should at least have used the programme for 5 years within a classroom setting.
The more experienced and knowleadgeable you are about the methodology the better chance you have to become a trainer.
You can also directly contact Jolly Learning to inquire about the criteria to become a trainer.
They would be more than happy to respond: https://www.jollylearning.co.uk/contact/
    We keep in touch.
    Cheers
