    Dear Colleagues,

Have you ever created an Extensive Reading program, participated in an effort to implement "ER" or have firsthand knowledge of an instance where it was tried and then either succeeded or failed?

The "Extensive Reading Foundation" has developed a 5-10 minute survey to examine the factors that lead to program creation, its expansion into the curriculum and importantly, why programs are not sustained and fail.  We hope to answer questions such as what factors such as prior knowledge about ER, resources, time constraints, the school administration and curriculum priorities affect the viability of programs.

In addition to the statistics that we gather, we will also contact some respondents (who volunteer their contact details) in order to build some case studies of specific school implementations.

We would appreciate it if you could take a few moments to respond: or free to pass this request on to colleagues in your other professional networks.

    Stay well!
