    Hello everyone!

One of the important things to remember when submitting a proposal is to understand what strand your proposal topic fits under.  For TESOL 2023, there are 13 strands you can submit your proposal under:

Advocacy, Social Justice, & Community Building,  Applied Linguistics, Content-Integrated Approaches, Culture & Intercultural Communication, Digital Learning & Technologies Language, Assessment, Listening, Speaking, & Pronunciation, Materials Development & Publishing, Personal & Professional Development, Program Administration & Evaluation, Reading, Writing, & Literacy, Teacher Education, and Vocabulary and Grammar.

The strands identify the general topics or content area.  There are several resources to help walk you through the proposal process.  Don't wait to plan, and remember, you can submit for both face to face and virtual presentation opportunities!

    Happy Proposal Planning!
