I am coediting this special issue with Dr. Irem Comoglu, and it is entitled "Practitioner Inquiry: Towards Efficiency and Responsibility in Teaching and Teacher Education." It will be published in the ERIES Journal.
We plan to include studies reporting different sorts of practitioner inquiry (e.g. action research, lesson/learning studies, communities of practice, professional learning communities, self-study, etc.) in teacher education/professional development contexts. If you are a language teacher/lecturer engaging in research practices based on your classroom or a teacher-educator/researcher collaborating with such practitioners, we would love to have your proposals by Jan 30th.
