Again, thank you for your interest in promoting social discourse by participating in our recent session, Do Black Lives Matter in Bilingual Education, part of the B-MEIS Webinar Series dedicated to re-imagining bi/multilingual education.
If you missed out our live webinar and the Q & A session, we have the recording on TESOL's YouTube Channel. Due to unforeseen technical issues, we were not able to add the close captions to the recording for the time being. While we are diligently working on the above issue, please access an abridged version of the recording here. A full webinar with close captions will be uploaded to YouTube later.
Again, I want to thank our honored guests for leading this powerful conversation:
Through the unfolding of the group conversation, we were somberly reminded of the ethnic and racial complexity of bi/multilingual education and how it is entangled in the cultural politics of school systems and community development. We hope this webinar will help us engage in critical dialogue in order to question larger power relations.
If you find this webinar resonating, please join us in continuing this conversation by vising our Facebook Group page (TESOL Bi/Multilingual Education IS) and posting your comments about this webinar.
We look forward to hearing from you.
