Hello, I am interested in getting back into teaching ESL students after homeschooling my children. I have an M.ED with a TESOL concentration. I haven't left the education world all those years just the ESOL world. What would you recommend as some refresher courses in order to update my skills?
    Thank you.

    Hi,

A well timed question. EVO, Electronic Village Online is about to begin. Free workshops on issues in ESOL for 5 weeks in Jan-Feb in a community-based atmosphere of knowledgeable colleagues.

    Hi Julianne:

The TESOL International Association offers a number of courses, both self-study and facilitated, which last 4-6 weeks:  https://www.tesol.org/attend-and-learn/online-courses-seminars

If you are looking for something less time intensive, TESOL has also recently developed some modules which can be completed in six hours: https://www.tesol.org/attend-and-learn/tesol-me

Both options can help you update your knowledge of best practices in the field of TESOL.

    Best wishes,
