    We are thrilled to share with you the information regarding our first-ever virtual Regional Conference for the TESOL Region 5 Affiliate on Saturday, February 6, 2021.  Our theme is "Transformed and Stronger." The conference will take place 100 % online!  Some of the highlights include the following:

    1. A full day of workshops, demonstrations, and unlimited networking opportunities tailored to English Language professionals
    2. Keynote address by Dr. Holly Hansen-Thomas, Texas Woman's University Vice Provost for Research and Innovation
    3. Address by Featured Speaker JPB Gerald, Doctoral Student Scholar of Language and Whiteness
    4. Poster Session featuring the latest research-based practices
    5. An opportunity to network with TexELT journal editors and reviewers
    6. Virtual Exhibitor Hall where you can "meet" the publishers and educational vendors 

     

    Call for Proposals

     

    We would be delighted if you could present at the conference!  In-service teachers, graduate students, administrators, researchers, and college professors are all welcome to submit proposals.  The direct link to submit proposals is here or visit our conference page at textesolv.org/winter2021

    Proposals are due by midnight on October 31, 2020.
