The Intercultural Learning Hub (HubICL), powered by HUBzero®, is an online collaborative space for researchers, educators, and entrepreneurs in intercultural learning. On the HubICL, community members share knowledge, research, learning activities, and tips through contributions to Groups, Collections, Forums, a Research Repository, and a Digital Toolbox. The Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment, and Research (CILMAR) at Purdue University, launched the HubICL in 2018 to offer mentorship and curated resources to facilitators of intercultural learning in order to promote best practices and innovations.
Annette Benson serves as the Senior Public Relations Consultant for the Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment, and Research (CILMAR) at Purdue University. CILMAR assists faculty in embedding intercultural learning into their curriculum, undergirds staff in integration and intercultural learning efforts, and strengthens the portfolio of students through mentorship while students are abroad and intercultural certification programs on campus. Annette has many years of experience in administering an ESL program, leading diversity and integration initiatives, and providing intercultural learning opportunities for faculty, staff, and students. She holds an MS degree in strategic communication from Purdue's Brian Lamb School of Communication. She oversees the external communication strategy for CILMAR, as well as managing all areas of the Intercultural Learning Hub (HubICL).
