    Hi Cassy,

Welcome to TESOL! I hope you are able to get a lot of use out of al the resources available and network with other English teachers throughout the world. I was an English Langauge Fellow in Kosovo from 2017-2019 and I had the pleasure of visiting your lovely country!

    Hi Cassy:

Glad to have you join us!  I am interested to hear more about your teaching context.  At what age do students begin learning English in Croatia?

Also, TESOL International has a number of Interest Sections (IS) and Professional Learning Networks (PLN) that you can join. I encourage you to check those out to meet other members of the association and exchange ideas.. Some communities that may be relevant for you are the English as a Foreign Language IS, the Pre-K-12 IS, and the Arts and Creativity PLN.

Best wishes and see you at the convention!

    Hello, Nikki!

Students begin learning English in Croatia at the age of 6 or 7. Some children learn English in kindergartens, but not all of them have that opportunity, it depends on the kindergarten.
Thank You for the recommendations, I will join those communities.

All best, see you at the convention.
