    Dear TESOL Friends,

Please join TESOL International's Intercultural Communication Interest Section (ICIS) for our upcoming August Coffee Hour: "Fostering Intercultural Communication via Act of Writing Poetry" presented by Saurabh Anand.

Anand is an international student from India, pursuing his doctoral studies in the Department of Language and Literacy Education (TESOL and World Languages Education) at the University of Georgia. In this talk, he will share how inviting poetry writing in L2 writing classrooms can help ESOL teachers explore and further expand knowledge about various cultural constructs their multilingual students may belong to at the higher education level by sharing two of his poems.

Free Event: Wednesday, September 25, 2021, 12:00-1:00pm ET (see attachments for promotional materials)

More information about the free event, including the Zoom link to join, can be found here.

    All the best,
    Jennifer Lacroix
